Easy-to-learn study words for beginning readers
The 100 most common words printed in the English Language, and 24 sentences using them.
Note that only 12 words contain more than 4-letters.

Challenge your students to create sentences of their own, using ONLY the words at the left -- it is not easy.
The sentences: these should be good for one-minute timed testing.
