From Kenneth Kawamura's library
In email corespondence about an Origami box, I, Marty
Carbone, happened to write to Kenneth Kawamura,
" I
will bet you a nickel Florence Temko never published anything that needed
a cut." ... (I wound up sending
Kenneth the nickel
and a Mini Boxmaker free of charge).
I thought you viewers would be interested in Kenneth's response.
Ken wrote back with the following; "I think you lose on that, taking
the 'anything' literally. But
I think I found
your 'Florence', and you're right, it isn't Florence
Temko. I think it's Florence Sakade. You got me curious
enough to try to dig
out part of my library. I'm sure I have more Florence Temko books than I looked
at (in
particular her two Money Folding books, which are in hiding with the
rest of my Money Folding books),
but oh, well. And looking her books up on the Internet, there's a whole lot more I never had.
:-)
However, I pulled what I could find of Florence Temko's books, looked around,
and grabbed books
by Florence Sakade and Toshie Takahama too, and this is what I found:
