  1. BOOK ARTS EMAIL GROUP -- Founded June 23, 1994, Book_Arts-L is a mailing list based at Syracuse University, and managed by Peter Verheyen. It currently claims over 1400 subscribers worldwide, among them practicing bookbinders, book-artists, marblers, papermakers, printers, collectors, curators in libraries, and people just interested in this wide and varied field. Here is a good bookbinders site by THE CANADIAN BOOKBINDERS AND BOOK ARTISTS GUILD (CBBAG) -- founded in 1983 in Toronto, Ontario by a group of professionals and amateurs from all quarters of the book arts: bookbinders, calligraphers, paper makers, letterpress printers, paper marblers, and book artists, as well as archivists and conservators.   13. Fonts - Here's a great site to find those fonts you always wanted - everything from the standard MS Windows fonts to Animal Pictures, Boxes, etc. Both in MAC and PC Format. The second best part about it is they have previews of all the fonts so you can see what you're getting before you download. The BEST part is - it's all FREE. MakingBooks.com -- This website has, among other things, (a) some straightforward tips for teachers on teaching bookmaking, (b) a good bibliography and (c) links to other sites (b and c are at the  "resources" link). PAPERCRAFT AND BOOK ARTS -- This site says they are "Purveyors of Papercraft and Book Arts since 1993" -- but I will bet this couple were making things out of paper before they went to kindergarten. They have a good list of links to various sites on those topics under their "inspiration" button. They also have some unusual papercraft kits for sale, a list of their dealers, and a schedule of their workshops from Florida to California. Visit:  http://www.thecreativezone.com
  18. SCHOOLS (Book Arts) --- a good list of schools with Book Arts Programs can be found at http://www.philobiblon.com - Look at the Book Arts Links section under "Book Arts Centers and Eduction." You'll find most of the better known and some lesser known there. They'll also have the contact information. You might just have to dig a bit.
  19. This to That --- This has to be one of the most interesting applications we've seen on the net. We wish we'd have thought of it ourselves. This simple site allows you to input 2 simple multiple choice parameters...One is a "This" and one is a "That" meaning, I want to glue "This" to "That". It then comes back with a quick response telling you the best method in which to do so. For example, we wanted to glue "Paper" to "Leather" it gave us the following reply ~ 
    We recommend:
    3M 77 - A less toxic alternative is: Sobo or Rhoplex - But it would make the paper wrinkle. For a non-toxic and absolutely wrinkle free result, we recommend: Yamato Sticking Paste.
