THIN WALL ALUMINUM CHANNEL -- This is a very common problem. How do you attach bolts and brackets to thin walled channels, tubes and surfaces? Building up the channel, tube or surface with Gapoxio(tm) is a good solution, as shown here. Just about anything can be attached to any of the four holes drilled in the Gapoxio, which can be tapped for threads if needed.
