* The Wikipedia A-Z list can be used to find stuff if you know the name of the topic you are looking for -- but it is not easy to "browse" because of the enormous number of entries. For instance, there are over 1,300 entries for words starting with the letters "b/a", and about 550 entries starting with "Battle of". Our estimate is that there are about 300,000 entries (plus or minus 50%) on the entire list.
* Warning: The results from the Wikipedia A-Z index are quite different from the results from filling in the search window at <<http://wikipedia.org/>>. Here is the result from "aborigine" at the A-Z index. <<http://wikilookup.info/info/guide/a/ab/aborigines.html>>. Compare that with the result from the result of typing in "aborigine" at the search window -- here it is <<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aborigine>>They are completely different. We recommend first using the search window in all cases -- use the A-Z list only as a last reort..
